Tā shì dānshēn.
She is single-body.

我 听说 你 是 单身。I heard that you are single.
Wŏ tīngshuō nĭ shì dānshēn.
I hear-say you are single-body.

杨 先生 是 单身 吗? Is Mr. Yang single?
Yáng xiānsheng shì dānshēn ma?
Yang first-born is single-body question?

她 喜欢 单身。 She likes being single.
Tā xĭhuan dānshēn .
She likes-pleased single-body.

刘 先生 不 喜欢 单身。 Mr. Liu does not like being single.
