徐 小姐 以前 是 工程师 。 Ms. Xu was an engineer before.
Xú xiǎojiě yǐqián shì ɡōnɡchénɡshī.
Xu little-big sister to-before was work-sequence-master.

以前 她 当过 编辑。 Previously, she used to be an editor.
Yǐqián, tā dāngguò biānjí.
To-before she become-was compose-edit.

我 以前 没 看过 这个 电影。 I have never seen this movie before.
Wǒ yǐqián méi kànguò zhège diànyǐng.
I to-before have-no see-was this electric-picture.

不 久 以前, 我们 工作 很 容易。 Until recently, our work was very easy.
Bù jiǔ yǐqián, wǒmen gōngzuò hěn róngyì.
Not long time to-before, we-plural work very easy.

打印机 前天 坏 了。 The printer broke the day before yesterday.
Dǎyìnjī qiántiān huài le.
Beat-print-machine previous-sky went bad finished.

不 久 以前, 他 住的 地方 离 工厂 很 远。 Until recently, he lived very far from the factory.
Bù jiǔ yǐqián, tā zhùde dìfɑng lí gōngchǎng hěn yuǎn.

以前 拿到 签证 很 容易。 Previously, it was easy to get a visa.
Yǐqián nádào qiānzhèng hěn róngyì.
